Top August Sale Reaches $1.815 Million as Boxford Median Holds Near $1.1 Million

BOXFORD -- Essex County deed records show 15 property transfers in Boxford recorded between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but fewer than half disclosed a sale price. The month's highest recorded transaction, a $1,815,000 sale on Lockwood Lane, stood well above the median of the eight sales that did report a price.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN

Burning Bush Drive was the only street with more than one recorded transfer in the period: a parcel at Burning Bush Dr Pcl E and a lot at 57 Burning Bush Dr Lot 1 both changed hands on Aug. 24, in each case from Daniel J. Walsh to Daniel J. Walsh as trustee. Neither transfer disclosed a price.
