NEWBURY -- Fourteen property transfers were recorded in Newbury during the four weeks ending Aug. 1, with five sales disclosing prices that ranged from $580,000 to $1 million and a median of $700,000.

MARKET OVERVIEW Fourteen property sales were recorded in Newbury from July 3 through Aug. 1, according to Essex County (Southern District) Registry of Deeds records. Five of the 14 transactions disclosed a sale price; those prices ranged from $580,000 to $1,000,000, with a median of $700,000. The remaining nine transfers did not include a recorded consideration amount.
