GLOUCESTER -- Thirteen property transfers recorded at the Essex South Registry of Deeds between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26 ranged from $425,000 to $1,240,000, but sale prices had posted for only four of them as of this report, a pattern consistent with the registry's typical lag rather than any withholding of information.

The second-highest recorded price was $750,000 for a property listed in the deed as "See Record," sold Sept. 22, with Susan Olson, trustee, as seller and Amy Lyn Olson as buyer.

At 65 E Main St, Unit 3, a condominium sold Sept. 24 for $700,000. James V. Irving, trustee, was the seller and Suzan Chatis, trustee, the buyer.

The fourth priced sale was 70 Maplewood Ave, which sold Sept. 22 for $425,000. Jeanne F. Smith was the seller and John Philpott the buyer.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN

No street in this period's data recorded more than one sale, so no single-street cluster emerged.
