Lynn Council on Aging previews second-floor reopening as director's contract won't be renewed. Staff member Lisa, filling in for Director Megan during her medical leave alongside colleague Norris, said Megan's last day will fall around July 2 or 3 and a search for a replacement is starting. The board's February-to-March expense report showed $1,600 a month for senior transportation, $1,308.71 in operations costs and $780 for outside professionals.

Friends of the Council on Aging representative Calvin Anderson announced the group's new Noble Fund, targeting donors in the "$2,500-$5,000 range," named for outgoing Friends president Joan Noble. A public health grant funding nurse Tanesha Hill's hours expires June 30. Beginning in early April, bingo moves upstairs and the first-floor cafe will be repurposed for chair yoga and meditation.
