The board has lacked quorum for roughly a year and a half, Chakoutis said.
New Director Janae reported September spending of $6,700, about $20,000 spent year to date, and $51,000 encumbered, 4.3 percent of the annual budget. The center added 24 new members in two months. The Friends of the COA reported a $10 raffle drawing dinner and a show, with tickets available at Friday's Halloween party.
