Lynn Board Approves Restaurant License Transfer
Other Committee · Meeting of September 15, 2026
Lynn License Commission approves a restaurant transfer, reviews a disputed bar-fight report and a knife assault. Commissioners Miguel Funes and Margaret Phelps and Lieutenant Mark Narek unanimously approved the alcohol license transfer for EJ Pacifica, 101 Linfield St., after representative Jeremy Garchan said incoming manager Ms. Wang would keep the menu and hours unchanged.
Roma Lounge staff disputed a police report calling an employee "one of the attackers," with one worker saying "I wasn't even outside when she walked in." The board's monthly incident review covered seven establishments, including an August 9 knife assault at Bruno's Bar tied to a $97 unpaid tab that led to an arrest, and $1,100 in property damage during an August 23 disturbance at DM Cannabis Dispensary. A change-of-manager request for Stephanie's Restaurant was continued for incomplete paperwork.
