Hamilton Planning Board backs lot merger, pursues downtown public realm grant

HAMILTON — March 25, 2026 — Hamilton Planning Board unanimously endorses a Birch Road lot combination and targets a state downtown planning grant with a June 3, 2026, deadline. The board voted without dissent to endorse a plan combining four separately deeded parcels — Lots 1A, 1B, 2, and 3 — owned by Angela and Angelo Fusillo into a single conforming lot of at least 20,000 square feet, clearing the way for the plan to be recorded. The meeting's longer session focused on the Massachusetts Downtown Initiative Capital Grant Program, which Chair Marnie Crouch described as aimed at "vibrant, livable centers" through public realm and streetscape investment.
