Georgetown High School has opened registration for its 2026 fall sports season, with tryouts scheduled to begin next month.

HIGH SCHOOL -- The Georgetown Public Schools athletics department announced that registration for 2026 fall sports is now open through the district's Snap registration portal. Listed user fees are $425 for soccer and volleyball and $375 for cross country, with golf fees listed at $475.

Fall tryouts begin Monday, Aug. 24. According to the athletics department's schedule: girls soccer tryouts run 7-9 a.m. on the GMHS turf; boys soccer tryouts run 4-6 p.m., also on the turf; cross country tryouts start at 9 a.m. at Penn Brook Elementary; girls volleyball tryouts begin at 5:30 p.m. in the GMHS Big Gym; and golf tryout location and time are still to be determined.

Athletic Director and Athletic Trainer Jessica Whitehead oversees the department, which posts schedules and results through Arbiter and follows MIAA power rankings. The school's athletic teams are known as the Georgetown Royals, per the athletics department's Facebook page.
