Amesbury Recreation Department fall program registration is open, with detailed dates now posted for adult and youth offerings.

TOWN Amesbury Recreation Department, now operating out of its new home at 62 Friend Street, "The Annex," has posted specific dates for its fall programming lineup. Adult Coed Volleyball continues on Thursdays through Sept. 10 before a new Tuesday session runs Sept. 15 through Oct. 20, both from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Other fall adult offerings include Paddling (kayak, SUP, sail) at Camp Kent on Thursdays from Sept. 10 to Oct. 15, Adult Tennis on Tuesdays from Sept. 8 to Oct. 13, Intro to Acting on Tuesdays from Oct. 6 to Nov. 10, and Adult Coed Pickup Soccer on Thursdays from Sept. 17 to Oct. 22.

For younger residents, the department listed fall youth programs including Basketball for grades 6-8 on Mondays from Oct. 5 to Nov. 23, Elementary Theater for grades 4-5, Intro to Aerospace for grades 6-8, Middle School Theater for grades 6-8, and Teen On-Camera Acting for grades 9-12, all beginning in September or October. Registration for all programs is available at amesburyrec.com, according to the department's website.
