Groveland Youth Soccer has pushed the start of its Sunday programs back to Sept. 20, two weeks later than previously announced.

GROVELAND -- Groveland Youth Soccer told families this week that Sunday, Sept. 20, will now be the first day of Sunday soccer, revising the club's earlier target date of Sept. 12.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The club asked families to arrive a little early on the 20th to pick up jerseys and name tags. An equipment swap for cleats and shin guards is planned for that day; families are encouraged to take what they need and leave behind anything their child has outgrown.

Picture day remains set for two sessions, Sunday, Sept. 20, and Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Shanahan Field. The club posted a detailed schedule running from Little Kickers through the U8 age groups on the 20th, with the Rangers, Thunder and Lightning teams photographed on the 22nd.
