NORTH ANDOVER — The North Andover Conservation Commission unanimously approved wetlands waivers clearing a country club parking lot repaving and a DPW fuel tank replacement. Engineer Maureen Harold told the board DEP had verbally agreed a scaled-back North Andover Country Club project at 520 Great Pond Road would not trigger state stormwater standards; member David White pressed for dumpster washdown containment near an intermittent stream, calling it unacceptable to let washings "go into the intermittent stream." Separately, staff detailed a 384 Osgood Street DPW project replacing 30-year-old fuel tanks, with 9,027 square feet of riverfront-area impact and a covered-stockpile condition added after member Bradley Mustain's questioning. The board also approved a septic modification at 83 Academy Road, a National Grid utility project via BSC Group's Tim Kever, a one-year extension at 3 Great Pond Road, and set a September 1 special meeting to finish rewriting its wetland protection regulations.
