Lynn Zoning Board postpones Ocean Street case, approves Summer Street gas station rebuild 5-0. The board continued Theodore Coronis' variance request at 206 Ocean Street to June 2 after a recusal left only four of five members eligible to vote, risking a fatal split decision. Attorney Sam Vitale and engineer Anthony Guba then won approval for AL Prime Energy to rebuild its 760 Summer Street station, the company's third in Lynn, with stipulations on trash enclosures, snow storage, and driveway design.

Guba said increasing underground tank capacity would cut delivery-truck traffic. Neighbor Rick Landry objected, asking "how many do they need?" given nearby competitors. The board approved the project 5-0 with conditions including locked trash enclosures and restricted generator hours.
