PEABODY — The Planning Board voted 7-1 to recommend a Lowell Street rezoning. Attorney John Kelty, representing Tedisco Properties, LLC, asked that 495 Lowell Street move from R1B to R2 so two duplexes could replace a four-lot plan requiring blasting. He said the company would donate about 73,000 to 77,000 square feet of rear land to the neighboring temple, and Temple Teferit Shalom treasurer Bryna Mizura said the temple was "encouraged." Dr. Judith Otto Cacciotti voted no.

The board also recommended that the City Council prohibit data centers in all zoning districts, after accepting a late subcommittee summary dated November 4.
