Georgetown High School's athletic department has opened registration for fall 2026 tryouts, its only sports news of the week.

GEORGETOWN -- Georgetown Public Schools Athletics announced that registration for Fall 2026 tryouts is open through the online Snap registration system, with tryouts set to begin Monday, Aug. 24.

HIGH SCHOOL -- According to the district's athletics page, fall tryout schedules are as follows: girls soccer, 7-9 a.m. at the GMHS turf; boys soccer, 4-6 p.m. at the GMHS turf; cross country, 9 a.m. at Penn Brook Elementary; girls volleyball, 5:30 p.m. in the GMHS Big Gym; and golf, with location and time still to be determined. User fees for the fall season are listed as $425 for soccer and volleyball and $375 for cross country, with golf at $475. Families can register at manage.snap.app/register/georgetownathletics.
