Zoning Board · Meeting of September 10, 2026

ANDOVER — The Andover Zoning Board of Appeals opened a comprehensive-permit hearing on a 40-unit condominium project at 84-88 Andover Street and voted to assert the town's Chapter 40B "safe harbor" status. Developers Greg Minot and Bill Perkins of Trailside Andover Development LLC proposed 30 market-rate and 10 affordable condominiums, 86 parking spaces, and committed roughly $200,000 to fund an Andover Street-Daskam Road corridor study. The board also voted unanimously to request Chapter 44 Section 53G funds for a traffic and civil-engineering peer review, and continued the hearing to October 1.

Residents Tom Ritzer, Melissa Danish and Conrad Surjaya raised concerns about traffic volume, truck routing and flooding near the site. In separate business, the board approved a special permit for an accessibility addition at 15 Cherrywood Circle and a variance allowing a three-season porch at 1 Samuel Way.
