Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of July 28, 2026

NAHANT — The Nahant Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to grant a special permit for rebuilding a house at 10 Fallon Way after finding the road is a public way. Chair Jocelyn J. Campbell cited a 1993 town meeting vote and a 1954 deeds plan to support the finding, while members Cameron Merrill, David Walsh, Gerardo Raffaele and Scott Ofrias each voted aye on a series of 5-0 roll calls. The board required a bond or insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence and ordered construction to follow plans dated July 28, 2026.

Abutter Nancy Fox told the board, "I feel like I've not been heard," over unresolved drainage and a new parking space near her property; member Cameron Merrill responded that "there was no relief required for parking that was before us."
