School Committee Approves Revised Restraint Policy

Danvers School Committee learned the district failed four compliance areas in a state special education audit. A Department of Elementary and Secondary Education integrated monitoring review examined 52 indicators and flagged gaps including IEP team attendance and the five-day requirement to deliver IEPs to parents, with a corrective action plan due by May 2027.
