Salem Chamber Announces Theme for This Year's Halloween Parade

SALEM — The Salem Chamber of Commerce announced the date and theme for this year's Halloween parade as the city gears up for its Haunted Happenings season, according to Salem Patch. The news came the same day Salem Public Schools relocated its Back to School Fair to Collins Middle School and Salem State University students closed out a year of paid community projects around the city.

SCHOOLS

Salem Public Schools' fifth annual Back to School Fair moved to Collins Middle School for Wednesday, Aug. 19, running 4 to 8 p.m., after construction near the Sarah Parker Remond School building and playground made the original site unworkable, the city said in a News Flash update this week.
