Peabody Safety Task Force To Host E-Bike, Scooter Forum Sept. 24
PEABODY — Peabody's Safety Task Force will host a community forum on e-bike, scooter and dirt bike safety at Higgins Middle School on Sept. 24, a session organized with Safe Routes to Schools, according to Peabody Patch. Meanwhile, the Peabody School Committee and two of its subcommittees are set to convene Aug. 25 as the district gears up for the new school year.

The Peabody School Committee holds its regular meeting Aug. 25, alongside separate sessions of the Quality & Standards Subcommittee and the Building & Grounds Subcommittee the same day, according to the district's calendar. The district also has a New Teachers session scheduled for Aug. 26, ahead of a professional development day with no classes on Aug. 31.
