HAVERHILL -- Haverhill Youth Soccer, the city's youth soccer organization, announced that In Town and Development registration is now open. The organization said it is "currently enrolling for the Development Program (Pre K-Grade 2) and In Town Soccer (Grades 3/4)."

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Haverhill Youth Soccer is offering several programs this season. TOT Soccer, for 3-year-olds, runs six weeks of Sunday-morning play for $70 per player. The Development program, described elsewhere on the organization's site as covering Pre-K through Grade 4, runs eight weeks of Saturday play for $100 per player (Pre-K/K) or $125 per player (Grade 1/2). The Travel program, for grades 3-8, is "designed to offer players with competitive opportunities to develop the necessary abilities to play at the next highest level," fielding teams in the Essex County Youth Soccer Association. A Youth Leadership Program for grades 6-12 lets older students earn volunteer hours and gain leadership skills by mentoring on weekends. The organization also noted that Town Select League (TSL) tryout links are "coming soon," with no cost to register for tryouts; players who make a team are rostered to the location closest to their residence.

No Haverhill High School games were reported for the period, according to ArbiterLive.
