Groveland Youth Soccer sets Sept. 12 start for Sunday programs, expands picture day to two sessions.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Groveland Youth Soccer's website says Sunday soccer begins Sept. 12, and asked families to arrive a little early that day to pick up jerseys and name tags. The club will also hold an equipment swap on opening day, inviting families to take any cleats or shin guards they need and to leave behind gear their children have outgrown.

The club further detailed its fall picture day plans, which now span two dates. On Sunday, Sept. 20, at Shanahan Field, sessions run from 9:30 a.m. to noon, covering the Little Kickers groups, all four U6 teams, all four U8 teams, and makeup photos for U10 players. A second session on Tuesday, Sept. 22, will photograph the club's grade 3-4 travel teams: the Rangers at 5 p.m., Thunder at 5:15 p.m. and Lightning at 5:30 p.m.
