Boxford's Town Clerk's office has posted details on the upcoming State Primary Election, giving residents a heads-up well ahead of the fall voting season, while the library gears up for its summer reading push.

The town has released details on the State Primary Election, scheduled for September 1, 2026, according to a News Flash notice posted to the town website. Residents can find sample ballots and further details via the town's election page, and those interested in serving as a poll worker on Election Day were encouraged to reach out to R. Phelan at the town clerk's office.

Separately, the town's homepage continues to flag that the FY27 Proposed Budget and Capital Plan is available for public review, along with a reminder that real estate tax payments are due.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Boxford Public Library has launched its summer reading program, open to residents of all ages, including adults, according to the library's news page. The library also reminded patrons that Kanopy and Hoopla Digital streaming services are now available free to Boxford Town Library cardholders, expanding on-demand movie and audiobook access alongside the Libby e-book app.

On the town's community calendar, the Concert on the Lawn at the Holyoke-French House is set for Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m., offering an outdoor music event for residents. The same weekend will bring "Touch a Truck," a hands-on community event for families, also scheduled for July 25.
