Select Board, Planning Board set to meet this week

BOXFORD — Town officials have two board meetings scheduled this week, while the Boxford Town Library continues its summer programming push for readers of all ages.

TOWN HALL

The Select Board is scheduled to meet Monday, July 13, with the Planning Board following on Wednesday, July 15, according to the town's public meeting calendar. Residents interested in serving as election workers are being asked to reach out to Town Clerk staff via RPhelan@BoxfordMA.gov.

The town also flagged that its FY27 proposed budget and capital plan is now available for public review, and reminded residents that real estate tax payments are due. Separately, the town noted an ongoing transition tied to North Shore Regional 911 dispatch services.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Boxford Town Library has kicked off its summer reading program, open to adults as well as children, according to the library's news page. The library also announced that Kanopy and Hoopla Digital streaming services are now available to cardholders, joining the Libby e-book and audiobook app as free digital resources accessible with a library card; residents needing setup help can call the library directly.

Looking ahead, the town has planned a "Concert on the Lawn" at the Holyoke-French House for Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m., and a Touch a Truck community event the same day, per the town's community calendar.
