Rockport sports roundup, July 20 to July 26

ROCKPORT --

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Rockport Youth Soccer (RYS) continues to run its full slate of programs, according to the organization's website. Kick Start sessions for the youngest players are held from 8 to 8:50 a.m. on Saturday mornings. In-Town game schedules are posted for grades 2 and 4, Travel Soccer schedules cover grades 5 and 6, and Cape Ann United Soccer handles grade 7 and above. RYS says it is looking for coaches "to coach at all levels," offering training and reimbursing coaches who complete Mass Youth Soccer coaching courses. Registration and financial aid information, which the organization says it keeps confidential, is available on RYS's Registration and Forms page.
