Peabody Little League's Fall Ball registration is open as the town's youth softball state champions raise funds for a regionals trip to Maryland.
YOUTH LEAGUES -- Peabody Little League has opened registration for Fall Ball 2026, with registration closing Aug. 12; the league said it also needs coaches for the fall season, according to Peabody, MA Patch. Separately, Patch reported that a Peabody youth softball team, described as state champions, is seeking community help to defray the costs of a trip to regionals in Maryland. Peabody Little League's website also recognized its 2026 season champions: the White Sox (Majors), the Angels (AAA) and the Cubs (AA), and noted the White Sox went on to win the 2026 city championship title.
In soccer, Peabody Youth Soccer Association said its Fall 2026 season begins Sept. 12 and 13, with registration now open and space limited in some divisions; the club said it will not offer an in-town program for 7th- and 8th-grade players this fall. Registration for Tiny Tanners, a program for ages 3-5, is also open through the Peabody Recreation website, according to the soccer association's site. A coaches meeting is scheduled for Sept. 8 at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom.
