PEABODY — Peabody capped the summer season Sunday evening with its annual Summer Concert and Fireworks Spectacular at Leather City Common, a free event that included dedicated shuttle service for seniors starting at 4:45 p.m., while the city's mandatory outdoor water use restrictions remained in effect for residents.
TOWN HALL
The city's News Flash feed highlighted the Summer Concert and Fireworks Spectacular as the marquee event of the weekend, with free parking at Leather City Common and a senior center shuttle beginning at 4:45 p.m. to help older residents attend. The event capped the city's 2026 Summer Concert Series, which has run at the Common throughout the season.
Separately, the city's mandatory outdoor water use restrictions remain posted as an active alert on the municipal website, continuing limits the city put in place earlier this year. Residents are advised to check the posted guidelines before watering lawns or gardens as summer winds down.
