Patricia M. (Roy) Brightney, 95, of Boxford, died on June 27, 2026. She is survived by her children, Justine M. Brightney, Sharon E. Croteau (J. Robert Croteau), J. Kevin Brightney (Nancy B. Brightney), Brian J. Brightney, Laura J. Brightney, and Craig A. Brightney; her grandchildren, Michael Croteau (Stacey) and Alicia Pusateri; and her niece Eileen Asoian. She was predeceased by her husband, James J. Brightney, and her brother, Emile J. Roy, Jr. A wake is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM at John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack St., North Andover; visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location; and a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 94 Andover St., Georgetown. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Mary's Church, Georgetown, MA; Care Dimensions; or the American Canadian Genealogical Society, per the family's wishes.
