Lynnfield Library Launches Summer Reading Week With Kickoff Party June 29

The Lynnfield Public Library is kicking off its Summer Reading 2026 program — themed "Plant a Seed, Read" — with a full slate of events opening this week. On Thursday, June 26, the library launches "Art-to-Go!" activity kits, available all week while supplies last for children of all ages. Saturday, June 27 brings a Nature Bracelets craft program from 10 a.m. to noon. The main event arrives Sunday, June 29: a Summer Reading Kickoff Party from 2:30 to 4 p.m., open to all ages. That same evening at 7 p.m., the library hosts a virtual program, "Celebrating America's 250th: Common Soldier: Uncommon Hero," featuring historian Bruce E. Mowday.
