Lynn Public Library moves to summer hours through September

LYNN -- The Lynn Public Library has moved to its summer schedule, and the city's community calendar shows a steady run of youth and family programming heading into mid-July.

The Lynn Public Library announced its summer hours will run through September 7. All departments will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the library closed Saturdays and Sundays as well as on the Labor Day holiday, September 7.

The city's community calendar shows several recurring library and youth offerings in the coming weeks, including "Messy Mornings with the LPL," a Teen Entrepreneur Speaker Series, and Teen Tech Space sessions, alongside evening movie nights on the common.

COMING UP

The Lynn Police Department's Bicycle Safety Day is set for Friday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Movie Night is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, from 8 to 9 p.m. The Lynn Shelter Association has a community event Tuesday, July 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Messy Mornings with the LPL and the Teen Entrepreneur Speaker Series both return Wednesday, July 15, at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. respectively, followed by LPL's Teen Tech Space on Thursday, July 16, from 3 to 5 p.m.
