Line Painting Crews Hit Lynnfield Roads Monday Night
Crews were set to begin line painting Monday evening on Lynnfield roads that were recently repaved, with the town warning residents to expect traffic impacts as the work gets underway.

Contractor K5 Line Painting confirmed its schedule with the Department of Public Works late Monday and was set to begin striping newly paved roadways that evening, according to a town notice. Residents driving through recently paved areas were advised to expect delays while the work is completed.
The town also flagged two other items on its News Flash page: a town-wide drain structure repair project is underway, and the Library Board of Trustees has an open seat it is looking to fill.

The Lynnfield Library hosts a virtual program Monday night, "Celebrating America's 250th: The Black Experience of the Revolution," featuring Herstorian Gracia Rich, running from 7 to 8 p.m. and open to all ages.
The library has also launched a Back to School Drive in partnership with Citizens Inn, collecting school supplies for families in need ahead of the fall semester.
