Library Shifts To Summer Hours Through Early September

LYNN -- The Lynn Public Library has shifted to summer hours through early September, and its calendar of teen and family programs continues this week with a movie night and drop-in tech sessions.

The Lynn Public Library announced its summer hours will run from July 6 through September 7. All departments will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the library closed Saturdays and Sundays as well as on the Labor Day holiday, September 7.

The library's Plant a Seed summer reading program remains underway for children, teens, and adults, with sign-up links available through the library's website. The library also continues to offer Kanopy streaming and Comics Plus digital collections to cardholders as part of its expanding online services.

COMING UP

The library's community calendar lists a Movie Night on Saturday, July 11, from 8 to 9 p.m. The Lynn Shelter Association has a scheduled visit on Tuesday, July 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 15 brings both Messy Mornings with the LPL for young children, from 10 to 11 a.m., and the Teen Entrepreneur Speaker Series, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The LPL's Teen Tech Space drop-in runs Thursday, July 16, from 3 to 5 p.m.
