Boxford Posts Sample Ballots, Seeks Election Workers for Primary

BOXFORD — Boxford has posted sample ballots and other details for the September 1 state primary election, and town officials are asking residents to sign up as election workers for the vote, according to the town website.

TOWN HALL The town's website this week featured sample ballots and information ahead of the September 1 state primary election. Officials are also recruiting residents to serve as election workers for that vote, with interested residents asked to email RPhelan@BoxfordMA.gov. The town separately noted that real estate tax payments are currently due.

COMMUNITY & ARTS Boxford Public Library's summer reading program is underway, with sign-ups open to readers of all ages, according to the library's website. The library also flagged expanded digital offerings, noting cardholders can now stream titles through Kanopy in addition to the existing Hoopla Digital service and the Libby reading app.

A free Concert on the Lawn is set for the Holyoke-French House on Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m., according to the town website.

COMING UP The Permanent Building Committee meets Wednesday, July 22. The Zoning Board of Appeals and the Conservation Commission both meet Thursday, July 23. A Touch a Truck event is planned for Saturday, July 25.
