Boxford Posts FY27 Budget Plan for Public Review

BOXFORD — The town's FY27 proposed budget and capital plan is now available for public review, and residents have several summer events to mark on their calendars this week, according to the town's official website.

The Select Board is scheduled to meet Monday, and the Planning Board convenes Wednesday, per the town's official calendar. Town officials also noted that the FY27 Proposed Budget and Capital Plan is now available for review, and real estate tax bills are currently due. The town is also seeking residents interested in serving as election workers, with inquiries directed to R. Phelan at the town clerk's office.

Separately, the town flagged an upcoming transition tied to North Shore Regional 911 services, though further details were not specified in materials posted to the town website.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Boxford Public Library has kicked off its Summer Reading program, open to residents of all ages, including adults. The library also announced that Kanopy and Hoopla Digital streaming services are now available to Boxford Town Library card holders, expanding residents' free digital entertainment and educational options directly through their library cards.

The town is also promoting a "Concert on the Lawn" event at the Holyoke-French House, set for Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m., and a "Touch a Truck" community event scheduled for the same day, per the town's community calendar.

The Select Board meets Monday, July 13. The Planning Board meets Wednesday, July 15. The "Concert on the Lawn" at the Holyoke-French House and "Touch a Truck" are both scheduled for Saturday, July 25.
