Boxford Posts FY27 Budget and Capital Plan for Public Review

BOXFORD — The Select Board's office has posted the town's proposed fiscal 2027 budget and capital plan for public review, kicking off what is shaping up to be an active week at Town Hall, with three town boards meeting and a free outdoor concert planned for the weekend.

The town has made the FY27 proposed budget and capital plan available for residents to review on the town website, giving Boxford taxpayers their first look at spending priorities for the coming fiscal year ahead of the budget process moving forward this year.

Boxford also continues working through its transition to North Shore Regional 911, the regionalized emergency dispatch service, with details posted on the town website for residents who want to understand how the change affects local emergency communications. Separately, the Town Clerk's office is recruiting residents to serve as election workers ahead of the September 1 state primary, with sample ballots already posted for review, and the town is reminding residents that real estate tax bills are currently due.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Boxford Cultural Council and town recreation calendar list a free "Concert on the Lawn" at the historic Holyoke-French House this Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m., offering residents an outdoor music event at one of the town's landmark properties.

COMING UP

Boxford's Recreation Committee meets Tuesday, July 21, followed by the Permanent Building Committee on Wednesday, July 22, and the Zoning Board of Appeals on Thursday, July 23 — all part of the town's regular public meeting calendar. On Saturday, July 25, the town also hosts "Touch a Truck," a hands-on community event for families, the same day as the Holyoke-French House concert.
