Boxford Announces Spirit of America Community Gathering for Wednesday Evening

Two town notices posted Monday set the stage for a patriotic community event this Wednesday evening and a full slate of new library offerings as Boxford settles into its summer routine.

The town's News Flash feed published two items on July 6. The Boxford Park Program is open for summer registration — sign-ups began May 27 — giving families a reminder that spots remain available for the season's programming. The town also posted details about The Spirit of America in Boxford, a community gathering set for Wednesday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m.

Separately, the town continues to share information about its transition to North Shore Regional 911 service; residents can find details on the changeover at the town's website. The FY27 proposed budget and capital plan also remains posted for public review, an open window for residents to weigh in before the next fiscal cycle takes effect.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Boxford Town Library has launched its summer reading program, open to residents of all ages — including adults. The library also announced two new free digital platforms now available to cardholders: Kanopy, which offers streaming films, documentaries, and educational content, and Hoopla Digital, which provides e-books, audiobooks, comics, and streaming video. Both are accessible at no cost with a valid library card.

Looking ahead, a Concert on the Lawn is scheduled at the Holyoke-French House on Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m.
