Board of Health, Cultural Council Set to Meet This Week

SAUGUS — The town's civic calendar carries the week's most concrete news, with the Board of Health and Cultural Council both set to meet and the Saugus Public Library launching two free summer reading enrichment sessions for elementary-age students.

COMING UP

The Saugus Board of Health meets Monday, Aug. 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the Saugus Public Library. Earlier that same day, the library runs two free Summer Reading Enrichment Programs — one for students in grades 1-2 at 9:30 a.m., and one for grades 3-5 at 10:30 a.m.

The Cultural Council meets Tuesday, Aug. 4, per the town's online calendar. That same day, the library hosts a CFCE Playgroup for children ages 0 to 2 at 9:30 a.m.
